About

My Name is Yuliana Lytvar, I am artist and a designer, who promotes the ability of creation of art through  the struggles and the challenges of the Parkinson's disease.
With a deep passion for creating art that tells a story of resilience, transformation, and hope. My journey as an artist has been shaped by a love for diverse artistic styles, as well as the profound experiences that come with living and creating through the lens of Parkinson's disease.

"Art has always been my refuge, my way of expressing the world within me. Growing up in Ukraine, I was captivated by the beauty and complexity of human emotion, landscapes, and life. Over the years, my work has evolved to include a variety of styles—each one reflecting different facets of my creative journey. I paint in various styles including REALISM, CLASSIC FINE ART, POP ART, PORTRAITS, LANDSCAPES, CUBISM and more" says Yuliana.

A Journey of Expression and Healing

"Through my work, I explore a wide range of artistic genres, from the serenity of landscapes to the dynamic energy of portraits. My landscapes capture the quiet beauty of nature, often filled with sweeping skies and dramatic light, while my portraits focus on the depth of human expression, striving to convey not just likeness, but emotion and spirit.

I am also drawn to the bold, vibrant language of Pop Art, with its playful use of color and iconography, and the intellectual challenge of Cubism, where I deconstruct and reassemble forms to capture the essence of subjects from multiple perspectives. And of course, I embrace fine art techniques—traditional brushwork, delicate textures, and a focus on visual harmony—to create works that speak to the soul.

My style is as diverse as the experiences that have shaped me. Every brushstroke is a testament to my journey, a reflection of the courage to continue, to express, and to transform life’s challenges into something beautiful. Parkinson’s may change the way I move, but it cannot take away my ability to create, to inspire, and to share a vision of strength and resilience through my art."

Art and Parkinson’s:

Finding Strength Through Creativity

"Since my diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease, my art has taken on even deeper significance. While the condition presents physical challenges, it has also opened new avenues of expression. Parkinson's has taught me that creativity has no limits, and that our most vulnerable moments can become our most powerful ones. Through my art, I aim to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease, while reminding others that beauty, expression, and hope can exist in any circumstance.Through my paintings, I hope to inspire others—whether living with a similar condition or facing any challenge—to find their own creative voice and embrace the beauty of imperfection. Parkinson’s is part of my story, but it is not the end of it. It is merely another layer, adding depth to my work and fueling my passion to continue creating.Thank you for visiting my space and for connecting with my art. I hope my work brings you as much joy, reflection, and inspiration as creating it has brought me. Together, let’s celebrate the strength of the human spirit and the transformative power of art."
